Wow, what a great time it’s been these past four and a half years developing a new theater and arts education program in the Triangle! We’re so thankful for all the support the community has shown and all the incredible artists and volunteers we’ve had the opportunity to work with.
As many of you know, Michelle Murray Wells, the Artistic Director of Sonorous Road, recently took on a position as Theatre Director and Residential Faculty member at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh. That responsibility has caused us to make new decisions in regards to the theatre venue at 3801 Hillsborough St. and how Sonorous Road can best serve the community.

We have always strived to provide a welcoming and safe space for artists to challenge themselves and are very proud to be passing the torch to Pure Life Theatre Company!! Pure Life is led by a number of local individuals with a history and passion for arts in the Triangle and exists to serve the community through exceptional theatrical experiences and life-giving performances that explore and nourish truth, hope, redemption and love. We couldn’t ask for a better theatre company to make their home in this beautiful space and continue important theatrical work. We look forward to participating and supporting the mission of Pure Life and hope you will join us in welcoming them to the space!
