Paste Queue is a great time-saver for sequentially copying and pasting multiple items between locations. Just copy all needed items first. Then paste them one by one or all at once - no need to switch back and forth between your source and destination.
Frequently Asked Questions for Paste QueueI think what she wants is to be able to queue the files copied. Meaning copy the first file first so that it would get the maximum read/write(copy) speed so that it would finish quickly. Please research copyhandler/terraterm pro to get what I'm saying. IE: c: File1 will be copied to e: and d: File2 will be copied to e:. 1 – Click inside the text box or form field where you want to paste the item. 2 – Press the Windows + V key combination. 3 – Scroll through the list of stored Clipboard items and then click on the one you want to paste. That’s all there is to it.
Q: Paste Queue has stopped pasting after I upgraded the OS. How to fix it?
The updated OS has disabled Copy 'Em Helper's paste function. (At the first time when you attempted to paste from Paste Queue, the OS asked you whether you'd like to allow the helper app to control your computer. If you denied it, then the OS would disable the helper app's paste function.) To re-enable it, please do the following:
- Go to your System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab.
- Select Accessibility from the left sidebar.
- Copy 'Em Helper should be listed on the right. If not, add it to the list. (You may need to click the lock at the lower-left corner to make changes.)
- Enable the checkbox of Copy 'Em Helper.
- In Paste Queue, go to the gear button and select Quit to properly quit the app.
- Open the Terminal app.
- Copy the entire line starting with tccutil below, paste it into Terminal, and press RETURN:
tccutil reset All Copy-em-Paste-Helper- Upon success, you'll see this message 'successfully reset All approval status for Copy-em-Paste-Helper'.
- Relaunch Paste Queue.
- In Paste Queue, click an item in order to trigger a paste operation. (Nothing is pasted at this time, but the OS will show you a dialog box.)
- In the dialog box that asks whether you allow the helper app to control your computer, click the 'Open System Preferences' button.
- In System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab, with Accessibility selected from the left, enable the checkbox for Copy 'Em Helper in the list on the right. (You may need to click the lock at the lower-left corner to make changes.)
